Neil Witmer, Ph.D.
Neil founded Witmer & Associates in 1987, and has consulted in over thirty industries since 1983. He specializes in partnering with CEOs and private-equity boards to provide talent solutions to execution problems. He has expertise in assessing high-potential managers for hire, promotion and career development. He facilitates action-learning forums leading to execution breakthroughs. Other capabilities include executive coaching, 360° surveys, and helping organizations to evaluate the operating potential of acquisitions.
Neil has been an adjunct consultant to an international quality consulting firm, helping senior executives apply leadership to process improvement. He has conducted workshops internationally on the "human" aspects of organizational change and reengineering.
Neil is the co-creator of Unleashing The Leader Within™, a nationally acclaimed leadership coaching program that produces eyebrow-raising impacts on both leaders and organizations.
Neil has authored numerous articles and management tools, including Diagnosing Performance, CEO Skill Profile, The Misunderstood Values of the CEO and Have Your Senior Managers Outgrown Leadership Training? His book, I GET IT!, outlines 24 simplified fundamentals that distinguish managers who get it from those who don't.
Neil lives in Naperville with his wife Mary Pat and daughters Paige and Hallie. His hobbies include landscaping, bush-league woodworking and storytelling.
